This is the last week of 2016 & even though this year was a good one, I’m ready to welcome 2017 with open arms.
I had made some goals for the year, and I did not accomplish them all unfortunately. But, I’m not giving up.
This post is dedicated to 2016, and it was really hard to sum up 366 days in just five points.;)
- I finally fixed my relationship with food.I learnt that, you can go on a vacation, eat pastry or pizza and still get home with minimum weight gain. You just have to be a little mindful, walk more, be it skipping the elevators or going for a twenty minute run before you indulge in your breakfast. I certainly loved the fact, that I did not have to compromise with food. Of course, I used to stick to just two treats a day. I did not go crazy and finish the whole box of chocolates 😉
2.I’m not nutella, and that’s why everyone under the sun cannot be happy with me. Period! Say no to excess baggage. I need to get better at not wanting everyone to be happy with me, but I know I will get there! 3. I started running/walking, this year and did as much as 50Km (31 miles)in the month of November. It’s not a 100 km, but I’m working on it. I hate to admit, that December has been my least active month in the whole year. Hence, I finally got motivated enough to do three miles today!

5. Travel wise, 2016 has been great! I went to London,Germany wit,two new countries:Austria & Bratislava, in November. And, also managed a small vacation back in March. I would love to travel more in the coming year.How has 2016 been for you? What are the songs you loved? What are your goals for the new year? I’m going to write a new post for my goals, but I can share this much, that I plan to accomplish in 2017 what I could not this year!
