1. I was blessed with twins and I won’t lie the bed time was a challenge.
When one would wake up the other slept & vice-versa.
Finally, after they were one, I cut their afternoon nap by merely 20 mins.
That seemed to really help me, & the twins would sleep around 8pm to 7am non stop!
2. A shower or a bath always induces sleep in small kids. How I miss bathing them using a bucket and mug :).
The mandatory bath before bed is still a must do in my home. It really does help you sleep better!
3. When nothing works we can keep them extra active. At times the kids, just don’t want to sleep no matter how long they have been up. In such a circumstance, I think we should tire them 😉 Take them swimming, or an extra hour in the park. This also works of you engage them in some puzzles 😉
4. Lastly but not the least, sugar makes us active! So we should not encourage our kids to consume sweets or mithai after 5 pm unless it’s their birthday;)
