My Adventure To Blyton Land #TheBlindList
A blind date means, to date someone without really knowing them. The dictionary would define it as a social engagement with a person one has not previously met. And, going on a blind date with the world, is perhaps more interesting and fun.
Travelling to a world I know nothing about world sounds fascinating, exciting and intimidating to me at the same time. The itinerary to my perfect blind date with the world could completely shock you.
Just remember, this world exists in my world, and thats why it’s on #TheBlindList 😉
Adventure To Blyton Land #TheBlindList
London is one of my favourite places in the world, and it never gets boring. But, what if I visit a land, which boats the characters of the famous, Enid Blyton? Perfect, it would be!
And, here is my diary entry, on how my date with the world would look like
Today, I’m travelling to the Blyton Land, England. Being an ardent fan of Enid Blyton and London, I had nothing better to choose. I’m super enthused to visit and meet the characters of Blyton’s book.
So, once I settled down, and took off, I was given an iPad, to select the itinerary, for the day.
I could visit a bunch of things, in the “Blyton Wolrd” and, just the thought made my pulse rate go high.
We landed, just across The Wishing Chair land, and I couldn’t have imagined beginning with anything else.
That, very Wishing Chair, which had filled my afternoons with imaginations as a child, was right before me. Just a small queue to pass, and I could explore the entire Blyton Land.
As I sat on the chair, all I had to was to “say out loud” where I wanted to go that’s it.
I wanted to meet Amelia Jane, you know? The naughty one? So, the chair dived me right into the toys room where Jane resided. Incidentally, it was the day she had decided to cut soap bars, and tie them on her foot.
It was fun to watch her skate up and down the room. The other toys were freaking out, and I wanted to capture this on my phone. But, my phone seemed to have frozen. So, all I have is a mental picture.
My next desire was to visit Malory Towers. The only book, which wanted me to go to a boarding school, if ever. Darrel Rivers was my idol and I always hoped that I could have been her roommate.
The chair rose up and landed me right into the campus of the school. There was Darrel, in flesh and blood. She planning some pranks with Felicity and rest of her friends. Malory Towers looked so pleasing. I wish I could have stayed back and done some photo shoots as well. But, I had so much more to cover.
St.Clares. And, meeting The “Famous Five”.
Did I mention that the Lufthansa’s flight, back home was the same day? And, my time was running out. Just like Cinderella.
So, I sat back on the throne of a chair and wanted to quickly meet the famous five, gang. But, I had spent too much time admiring Jane & Rivers. And, The wishing chair took me directly to the plane, and my adventure was coming to a close. Oh, what fun it was. Felt like dream.
Maybe, next time I can explore more, like the Jurassic Era? Or the land of unicorns?
Thank you, Lufthansa and I cannot wait for my next adventure!
I hope, you all enjoyed reading my entry of my #theblinddate with the world. Until, next time Auf Wiedersehen
