I just arrived to Copenhagen & was given this mess of a room to stay in for the next 15 months. My company could surly, do better, if they wanted!
At least, there was a shower rack and curtains. That loofah, would have to go though. I feel very squeamish by just looking at it. And, the glass cupboard which has fossils kind of china, is giving me the creeps.
I would need to spend some money, to make this room a ‘home -like’ feel.
But, God, do I really need to stay here?

Wonderful world of words 👍👍
Thank God this was fiction! A lucky loofah- gave me shivers just thinking about it .
Auto correct ? I meant YUCKY loofah
You brought the room right in front of my eyes with your words, Zainab! And, along with you, I felt squeamish too!
The doll cabinet would creep me out too!
ohh dear, that is definitely not pleasant. Make the company give you another one.
Dear Zainab,
A rather dismal atmosphere to put up with for 15 months. Ugh. Good scene set up.
Shalom,
Rochelle
PS Surly needs an ‘e’. Without it means something else than what I think you intended. ‘And I think surely you did. 😉
I wouldn’t want to use someone else bath loofah either!
What a vivid description of the unpleasant lodgings provided by your company. Time to look for a new job? 😉
Yuc! If that’s what the company thinks of its employees, I’d be ‘loofing’ for another job!

Awful setting for that length of time. And maybe, like some exchange students have found, the hot water setting isn’t much more than lukewarm.
I’m wondering if the company is trying to give a bold hint that they should hand in their resignation?
A bad AirBnB rental! XD Well done!
I’d toss that loofa too. Gross! lol
lol 🙂
Haha! That feeling of an unkept home and staying away from what you call home.
