Of course, now we carry our smartphones everywhere which has internet connectivity hence, looking up some information on the web is just a few clicks away. Perhaps, keeping a screenshot is going to be pretty smart. Since internet speed connectivity can be flaky, it is wise to keep a screenshot of the important words that might help you in travel.

- Restaurant
- Taxi
And, of course, a lot more words, which may fit the bill for you personally. Keep your luggage organized and make sure that items are sorted out properly so that you do not go around hunting for things. This can result in unnecessary wastage of time. But, that is for another post.

Yes insurance is a must. I think using a currency card/ credit card and also a phone card is a must these days. Or at least activating international roaming – though you have to be careful lest you land up with a humongous bill !
Loved the tip on insurance which most travelers choose to ignore. It’s important, not only for medical emergency but also when the luggage gets misplaced or lost and you are in a new country minus your belongings.
